Organized to develop strategic initiatives for all of the Dominion companies

The Dominion Supply Chain Management Organization is comprised of six primary groups chartered with the responsibility to support one or more of Dominion's companies. By developing strategic initiatives tailored to each Dominion company, and ensuring leading edge procurement strategies are used, Dominion Supply Chain Management fulfills its mission to deliver substantial sustainable competitive advantage for Dominion.

SCM Generation

• Supports Dominion Generation
• Centralized in Richmond, VA (with selected manned, remote station locations)
• Major commodity groups: Boiler, Electrical, Mechanical, NSSS, Valve, Turbine/Generator, and Balance of Plant (miscellaneous materials and services that do not fall within a specific commodity group)
  

SCM Electric

• Supports  Electric Transmission and Distribution for Virginia Power
• Headquartered in Richmond, VA
• Major commodity groups: Switch Gear, Lighting, Poles, Transformers

SCM Gas

• Supports Gas Transmission and Distribution
• Headquartered in Clarksburg, WV
• Major commodity groups: Construction/Services Contracts, Pipe, Valves, Fittings, Lubricants, and Chemicals
  

SCM Strategic Sourcing

• Centralized in Richmond, VA
• Major commodity groups: Fleet, Facilities, IT Hardware & Software, Telecommunications, Office Furniture & Equipment, Office Supplies, HR Services, Uniforms, Printing Services, Staff Augmentation, Security, Travel Services

Supplier Diversity

• Provides support to all Supply Chain organizations listed above
• Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia
  Objective: Identify opportunities to leverage spend for goods and services with diverse suppliers in the following areas:
  • Prime Contracting
  • 2nd Tier Subcontracting
  • Credit Card and Fleet Card Purchases

SCM E&P

• Supports Dominion's Exploration & Production oil businesses in transition through early 2008
• Headquartered in Clarksburg, WVA
• Transition services focus on master services contract and commercial assignments and materials management issues
