Getting Started
Using the latest technology in business lighting is an effortless way to save money.
Program Details
Find a contractor to retrofit your existing lighting with more efficient lighting that may include:
- Installing high-bay fluorescents and pulse start metal halide lamps for warehouses
- Installing more efficient ballasts
- Installing LED exit signs and occupancy sensors
- Upgrading T12s to T8s
- Replacing incandescent bulbs with CFLs
The participating contractor will evaluate the lighting requirements. Based on this evaluation, each customer will be provided options for purchasing a new lighting system. This program is eligible for the installation of new equipment or the replacement of existing equipment.
The customer and the contractor will agree to a system, price and installation time frame/appointment independent of the program. After the installation of the new system, an application will be provided to Dominion Virginia Power and the rebate will be processed.

More efficient lighting means savings on your monthly electric bill and a rebate amount that is based on a per fixture rate.
