Preferred Sewer Line Terms and Conditions

  1. The Preferred Restoration Program ("Program") from Dominion Products and Services, Inc. (Dominion"), will provide for restoration of the portion of your paved surface or yard that was disturbed during the course of a normal excavation. Pavement restoration includes labor and relevant material for asphalt or concrete sidewalks, driveways, steps, porches, and patios. Landscaping restoration includes labor and sod, mulch, shrubs (not to exceed five gallon size), trees (not to exceed 6’ in height); resetting of bricks/stones for sidewalks, driveways, walls, and patios.
  2. Coverage under the Program starts after first payment is received and enrollment in the Program exceeds 30 days. Coverage continues thereafter so long as the customer makes timely payments. Customer payments prepay coverage under the Program. Coverage is suspended at the end of the prepaid period in cases of nonpayment. Customer's account must be in good standing (current) to receive repair service under this Program. Preferred Restoration must be selected for each program the customer wants coverage (e.g. a customer with the Water Line Program and the Sewer Line Warranty, must purchase Preferred Restoration for both programs).
  3. Due to possible adverse weather conditions in winter, preferred restoration may take up to six months to be completed.
  4. The following are excluded from coverage under the Preferred Restoration Program:
    1. restoration of entire yard
    2. restoration of entire paved surface to match color or texture
    3. commercial property
    4. buildings, sheds, garages or any other structures
    5. sprinkler/irrigation systems, ponds, waterfalls or other water structures
    6. fields, meadows, pastures, wooded areas
    7. slate or other cut stone sidewalks, steps, driveways
    8. sod, grass, shrubs or trees that died/failed to grow due to lack of ongoing care or maintenance
    9. damage or conditions caused by you or a third party
    10. excavation started/completed prior to enrollment.
  5. Coverage under the Preferred Restoration Program will remain in force until terminated by either Dominion or you. You may cancel your participation at any time.
  6. Dominion reserves the right to modify the Preferred Restoration Program, from time to time, and will provide you thirty (30) days written notice of material changes. Dominion may also have the right to terminate the Preferred Restoration Program on ninety (90) days written notice to you.
  7. Dominion shall be solely responsible for the selection of a qualified restoration contractor, and in all cases Dominion will make payment directly to the contractor and not to you. Dominion will not reimburse you for restoration work performed by you or a third party.
  8. Coverage under the Preferred Restoration Program is limited to $1,000.00 per claim. Any amount estimated to exceed the $1,000.00 maximum must be prepaid by you directly to the contractor selected by Dominion before start of restoration.
  9. Customer charges for the Preferred Restoration Program will appear on your monthly utility bill.
